Three angels visit Abraham, and one of them is the Lord Jesus Himself. Abraham welcomes them with hospitality and once again hears the promise that he and Sarah will have a son, despite their old age.
After the meal, the Lord reveals the future of Sodom to Abraham. Johan highlights that God never brings judgment without warning and that He calls us to study the Book of Revelation, desiring to reveal His truth to us.
In response to this revelation, Abraham intercedes on behalf of the city, pleading with the Lord to spare it. Johan explains the gift of interceding for others and reminds us that the Lord Jesus is constantly interceding for us before the Father—day and night.
